孙韦悦现居西安，毕业于英国皇家艺术学院摄影系，拥有摄影及社会学双重背景。她的作品关注在后殖民语境下摄影对东西方不同民族的身份构建，通过博物馆、历史文献、档案收藏等多种方式重述并重造殖民史，还原并重建被历史篡改的档案与记忆。

 

Sun Weiyue is a photographic artist based in Xi'an, China. She graduated from the Royal College of Art with a master's degree in photography. Her practice explores the construction of visual modernity in China through the medium of photography and seeks to create multifaced interpretations of the interactions between East and West. She reacts to obscured histories through multiple mediums and uses museums, archives, and collections as legacy to retell and reinvent colonial history.
